The Project EH Story

Project EH Apparel was launched in January 2018 with one goal in mind: To bring people together and build a stronger Canada one cause at a time.

Canadians are known around the World for being kind, caring, and accepting people. We’re also known for our beer, maple syrup, poutine, and hockey among many other great things. Arguably the most famous Canadian stereotype is the saying ‘Eh’. These two letters are used so often that most of us don’t even realize we’re saying it!

So what does Eh even mean? For us at Project EH it stands for Equality & Humanity. These two important values are always on the top of our mind as Canadians. Let me start by saying we are all pretty damn lucky to call this country our home. And on the global stage Canada is a leader in equality and humanity for our people. However we’re not perfect and even the best can always do better.

Over the past few years Canada has drastically improved on Mental Health awareness and initiatives. This has been an important step in the right direction. On the other hand we haven’t quite hit the mark on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and it’s effects on our military members, veterans, first responders, police officers, and their families. A recent report showed that Canada has the highest prevalence of PTSD out of 28 countries studied. This is an alarming stat that can’t be ignored.

We decided for our first Project we would focus on PTSD awareness and initiatives. For each Project EH product you purchase  we will donate 20 percent of proceeds directly back to charities benefiting PTSD. Our mission is to build the Project EH brand across the country so we can provide the necessary support to all Canadians dealing with this difficult disorder.

We have a long road ahead of us, but with your help and support together we will build a stronger Canada.
